Can I use a Pilot V7 in the UPSC Mains?
What you write is more important than with which pen you write. However to answer your question I would suggest you to avoid PilotV7 The paper quality is good, but Pilot V7 is thick and bold which may make your sheets look untidy. Also Pilot Pens generally are infamous for their ink-leak hazard which can certainly not be risked for such an important exam. Ideally a ball point pen with mild blue colour and normal thickness gives a great appeal to your answer sheet (Cello Butterflo) But if you are more comfortable with gel pens then rather than a Pilot V7 I would suggest a Mild Pen like Reynolds Trimax. Hope it helps. Keep Practicing. All the best for your MAINS. May God bless you.
